San Dionigi Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Borgo Velino, in the province of Rieti, took place on October 9th, the day dedicated to Saints Dionysius, Rusticus, and Eleutherius. Respecting a centuries-old tradition, the community gathered around the Collegiate Church of Saint Matthew the Apostle for the solemn Eucharistic celebration in honor of the patrons, followed by a procession through the village's historic center.

The event reaffirmed its role as the most significant identity-defining appointment of the year for the town in the Velino Valley, a moment of faith and encounter capable of drawing together residents and families connected to the village.
