San Dana Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition

The 2025 San Dana Patronal Feast took place in early August in the hamlet of Gagliano del Capo, in the province of Lecce. As per tradition, the program combined the religious dimension — with solemn mass and the procession of the statue of San Dana through the village streets — with the civil and popular one.

The evenings saw the square in front of the Mother Church come alive with concerts and live music, while illuminations lit up the narrow streets of the small Salento center. There was no shortage of stalls with typical products of the territory, an opportunity to savor the cuisine and wines of lower Salento in a festive and convivial atmosphere.
