San Cosimuccio Celebrations

In 2025, the community of Lentella once again renewed the San Cosimuccio Celebrations, the devotional cycle dedicated to Saints Cosmas and Damian held on the last Sundays of February, April, and July. Each event featured Holy Mass and a procession with the statues of the Physician Saints, following a tradition that dates back to the 18th century and links the village's faith to the protection of the land and harvests. The festival season concluded with the solemn patronal feast on September 27th, celebrated in the historic center of the town in the Province of Chieti.
