39th Prickly Pear Festival and 3rd International Festival (2025)

The 2025 edition, from October 3rd to 5th, combined the 39th Prickly Pear Festival with the 3rd International Prickly Pear Festival. On Saturday, October 4th, the talk «Prickly Pear: a driver for the territory» was held, led by journalist Nino Amadore of Il Sole 24 Ore, followed by the tasting «Prickly Pear between taste, color, and transformation prospects» and show cooking by chef Angelo Treno from the restaurant «Al Fogher» in Piazza Armerina. On Sunday, October 5th, the «Wine & Prickly Pear» masterclass took place. Guests included host Miriana Trevisan, comedian Giuseppe Castiglia, and a concert by Povia. There was also a food court with prickly pear-based dishes, grilled meats, and craft beers, as well as the «Four Seeds of Taste» route curated by the San Cono Pro Loco.
