San Cataldo Festival

The 2025 San Cataldo Festival brought Gagliano Castelferrato to life during the last days of August, renewing the patronal traditions of the Enna village. After the preparatory laurel rituals, the days of August 29th, 30th, and 31st alternated between moments of devotion—the laurel procession, the relic procession, and the solemn ascent of the statue toward the Mother Church—and the parade of adorned horses and evening shows in the square. The event, included in the Gagliano Summer program, was organized by the Municipality and the Pro Loco of Gagliano, confirming the appointment as one of the most heartfelt of the summer in the Sicilian hinterland.
