Edition 2025 — San Cataldo Gliaca

The 2025 edition of the San Cataldo Festival was celebrated in Gliaca di Piraino on May 17 and 18. The eve of Saturday, May 17, featured the procession with the Saint's relic along the village streets, Mass on the waterfront with the blessing of the sea, and a convivial fish dinner. On Sunday, May 18, the patron saint's day, the community experienced the solemn Mass, the twelfth edition of the Orange Squeezing Competition, musical band accompaniment, and the procession of the statue concluded by fireworks.

The 2025 edition of the San Cataldo Festival took place in Gliaca di Piraino on May 17 and 18. On the eve of Saturday, the Saint's relic was carried in procession along Via del Sole and Via del Mare, with Holy Mass on the waterfront, the blessing of the sea, and a convivial evening with a fish dinner and music.

On Sunday, the patron saint's day, there was a solemn Mass with the blessing of laurel branches, the 12th Orange Squeezing Competition in Piazza Quasimodo, a performance by the musical band, and the procession of the statue of San Cataldo through the town streets, concluded by traditional fireworks over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
