San Calogero Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Calogero Festival in Valledolmo (PA) took place on June 18th, confirming the community's bond with the hermit saint revered as the "Bel Vecchio." The celebrations, hosted by the Church of Maria SS. della Purità, were preceded by the preparatory triduum with the recitation of the chaplet dedicated to the saint.

The day followed the traditional rite: bells at dawn, Eucharistic celebration, blessing and distribution of the Votive Bread to the faithful, and the essential symphonic marches of the local brass band. In conclusion, the lottery drawing brought the people of Valledolmo together once again around a festival that weaves together faith, tradition, and the village's identity.
