«San Buono and its Feudal Lords» Historical Re-enactment

The 2025 edition of the «San Buono and its Feudal Lords» historical re-enactment took place on August 10th in the historic center of San Buono, in the province of Chieti, coinciding with the feast of Saint Lawrence. The evening featured the traditional period costume parade dedicated to the Caracciolo princes, the town's feudal lords, and the re-enactment of the arrival of the relics of Saint Buono.

The historical procession crossed the village alleys among performers and scenes of court life, continuing until late at night. The event concluded with a dinner in the village and a tasting of typical local products; for visitors, a free guided tour of the historic center was made available upon request.
