San Brizio Patronal Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Brizio Patronal Festival took place in Calimera from July 28 to 30, organized by the Pro Loco Calimera Festival Committee in collaboration with the municipal administration and the parish.

On July 28, the town inaugurated the spectacular artistic illuminations by the De Cagna company, officially opening the festivities. On July 29, the patron saint's day, the solemn procession with the statue and relic of San Brizio took place through the town center, accompanied by the faithful and authorities; in the evening, along Via Napoli, the pyromusical show by the Cosma company of Monteroni accompanied the Saint's return to the church. On July 30, the festival concluded with live music by the Taranta Project, a young group that brought modern-style pizzica salentina to the square.
