San Biagio Summer Festival

The 2025 San Biagio Summer Festival in Militello Rosmarino (Province of Messina) took place on August 24th and 25th, renewing the centuries-old rites of the patron saint in the heart of the Nebrodi mountains. On August 24th, the Rito dell'Entrata opened the festivities with the procession of the Madonna del Carmelo and the transfer of the statue, followed by the tossing of the "cucciddati" in Piazza Lodato. On August 25th, the solemn procession of the venerated Baroque statue crossed the village amidst the traditional "runs", the blessing of the children, and the "Salva" fireworks.

The civil festivities concluded on Monday, August 25th, at 10:00 PM in Piazza Lodato, with a concert by Petit (Salvatore Moccia), a young Roman artist launched by Amici 23, and a performance by the group Atmosfera Blu, on tour in the Messina area to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
