2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the San Berardo Festival in Pescina, in the heart of the Marsica (province of L'Aquila), once again proposed the traditional program that combines faith and popular celebration. The festivities were preceded by the novena and included the historical re-enactment of the translation of the saint's body from San Benedetto dei Marsi to Pescina, the historic May 1st Fair near Piazza Mazzarino, and the shared pilgrimage with Colli di Monte Bove, the birthplace of San Berardo.
A central moment was the solemn procession with the Bust of the saint through the streets of the historic center, with great participation from the faithful coming from all over the Marsica. The evenings in Piazza Mazzarino offered free concerts and shows, confirming the vitality of one of the most iconic patronal feasts in inland Abruzzo.
