Edition 2025 — San Bartolicchio

The 2025 edition of the San Bartolicchio Festival took place in the Oliastrello district of Ustica on the second Sunday of September. The island community gathered around the pond's little church for the novena, procession, and mass, followed by traditional popular festivities including barbecues, country games, the donkey race, a tombolone, and fireworks.

2025 Edition

The 2025 San Bartolicchio Festival renewed the appointment in Ustica with the rustic and folkloric version of the festivities for the patron saint, Saint Bartholomew. In the Oliastrello district, around the little church decorated with De Simone ceramics, the island community experienced the religious moments of the novena, the procession, and Holy Mass.

The day continued in the spirit of conviviality and folklore with meat and sausage barbecues, fruit, wine, and music, along with traditional outdoor games: the sack race, tug-of-war, and the unmissable donkey race, which was particularly appreciated by children. The evening concluded with a prize-filled tombolone and midnight fireworks, confirming the festival as one of the most heartfelt events of the island's summer.
