Sammichelese Carnival 2025
The 2025 edition of the Sammichelese Carnival brought San Michele di Ganzaria to life during the carnival season, with its peak in the days leading up to Shrove Tuesday, which fell on March 4, 2025. The Municipality of San Michele di Ganzaria promoted the event with the invitation "Join us for the Sammichelese Carnival," involving residents, families, and children.
In 2025, the festival once again confirmed its status as a community event, with masks, costumes, and the joyful atmosphere typical of the carnivals in the small towns of inland Sicily, in the Calatino area of the province of Catania.
