Edition 2025 — Salsiccia Experience

The fourth edition of Salsiccia Experience brought San Leucio del Sannio to life from July 4 to 6, 2025. The menu featured the cuzzetiello with sausage meatballs in sauce, accompanied by grilled sausages, pasta with sausage ragù, bruschetta with roasted caciocavallo cheese, side dishes, and traditional desserts, with draft beer and local wine. Three evenings organized by the Pro Loco «Casali dei Collinari», ten minutes from Benevento.

Salsiccia Experience 2025, the 4th edition

From July 4 to 6, 2025, San Leucio del Sannio, about ten minutes' drive from Benevento, fired up the grill for the fourth edition of Salsiccia Experience, the festival dedicated to artisanal sausage promoted by the Pro Loco «Casali dei Collinari».

The signature dish was the cuzzetiello with sausage meatballs in sauce, served in bread hollowed out of its crumb. The menu also included grilled sausages, pasta with sausage ragù, bruschetta with roasted caciocavallo cheese, side dishes, and traditional desserts, all accompanied by draft beer and local wine.

Evening program

  • Friday, July 4: La Corrida: dilettanti allo sbaraglio, directed by Massimo Carlo Dattilo.
  • Saturday, July 5: folk music with I Giovani della Tammorra di Bagni and a chess tournament organized with the Associazione Scacchi Valle Caudina.
  • Sunday, July 6: group dances with Rochitos Fisalivemusic.
