Edition 2025 — Salsiccia al Metro

The 2025 edition of the Salsiccia al Metro Festival took place in Careggine from July 25th to 27th, 2025. Three evenings in the usual setting of the village service area, with local grilled sausage served by the meter, farm-to-table sandwiches, beer, and plenty of live music under the 800-square-meter covered marquee.

In 2025, the Salsiccia al Metro Festival confirmed its great appeal, bringing fans of good food and village festivals from all over the Province of Lucca to Careggine, in Garfagnana. From July 25th to 27th, under the covered marquee of the service area, meters and meters of grilled sausage were served, along with sandwiches made with local products, pasta dishes, beans, and draft beer.

The three evenings offered live music and DJ sets until late at night, while the equipped playground made the event suitable for families. An edition that reaffirmed the festival's bond with the gastronomic tradition of the Garfagnana mountains.
