Salitredici

The 42nd edition of the Salitredici took place on July 21, 2025, in Abbadia San Salvatore, confirming the great appeal of the historic uphill race of Monte Amiata. On the 13.2 km route of continuous ascent, the event gathered nearly a thousand participants: about 278 athletes reached the summit in the competitive race, while over six hundred people enlivened the non-competitive walk.

Among the men, the first to cross the finish line was Matteo Lucchese, with a time of 57 minutes and 32 seconds. Among the women, victory went to Marcella Municchi, who finished in 1 hour, 10 minutes, and 58 seconds. It was a highly attended edition, with a large crowd supporting athletes and walkers along the climb toward Monte Amiata.
