The seventh edition of the Salice Salentino Carnival

On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Salice Salentino hosted the seventh edition of its Carnival. From 2:30 PM, the masquerade parade kicked off from Via Umberto I, winding through the town streets — Via Pasquale Leone, Via Maria Cristina, Via Dante Alighieri, Via Fontana, Via Manzoni, Via Saragat, and Via Filippo Turati — until reaching the Largo Parco Giochi Comunale, where the final party was held.

The procession was brought to life by costumed groups, music, pranks, surprises, and entertainment mascots. The heart of the day was the creative and original costume contest, with a final awards ceremony. The event, organized by the Municipality of Salice Salentino, involved families, children, and adults in a free and participatory celebration. For safety reasons, the use of glass bottles and glasses, cans, and spray cans was prohibited along the route.
