The 2025 edition of Salice Reading Community

In 2025, the festival once again brought a series of evenings dedicated to books and meetings with authors to Salice Salentino, in the setting of the Cloister of the Convento Madonna della Visitazione. The now-consolidated formula combined the presentation of fiction and non-fiction works with direct dialogue between writers and the public, in the informal and engaging atmosphere typical of Salento summer evenings.

Promoted by the Municipality of Salice Salentino and the Community Library, the event reaffirmed the town's vocation to be a true "reading community": a place where book culture does not remain confined to library shelves but becomes an opportunity for meeting, discussion, and collective growth. The success of the 2025 edition paved the way for the fifth edition in 2026, which is even richer in guests.
