Salìber Fest 2025 — "Body"

The fifth edition of Salìber Fest was held in Salemi from July 24 to 27, 2025, under the artistic direction of Filippo Triolo. The chosen theme, "Body", spanned literature, cinema, visual arts, and performance, exploring the wounded, violated, mutating, sick, and desiring body.

Highlights included: poetry meetings with Alessandra Carnaroli and Marilena Renda, a dialogue on "Mental health and the body" with Alcide Pierantozzi and Nikolai Prestia, a talk by Roberta Scorranese on changing bodies in art, and the film section featuring a screening of Pasolini's "Teorema" and a selection curated with the Sicilia Queer Filmfest. There was also space for the "Corpovivo" art exhibition, a workshop for children, a Yoga&Poetry session, and the dawn theatrical performance "Nel ventre". The edition also hosted the Halyciae Literary Prize for young people under 27.
