Edition 2025 — Salese Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Sala Consilina Carnival was held on Sunday, March 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Piazza Umberto I as the heart of the festival. The morning program brought together performances by local dance schools, circus artists, inflatables for children, and the distribution of sweets, in a format designed especially for families in the Vallo di Diano. As per tradition, admission was completely free.

The 2025 Carnival in Sala Consilina

On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Sala Consilina celebrated its Carnival in Piazza Umberto I, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event was part of the carnival calendar of the province of Salerno and, together with the one in Padula, represented one of the two main moments of the Vallo di Diano that weekend.

The morning was marked by performances by local dance schools, circus artists, and entertainment for children, with inflatables and the distribution of sweets. The format, concentrated in a single square and over a few hours, made the event particularly suitable for families with small children, who crowded the town center in costume.

The 2025 edition confirmed the Salese Carnival as one of the most attended winter events in the town's calendar, laying the groundwork for the following year's event, which then grew in duration and complexity with the parade along Via Mezzacapo.
