Salento Culinary Art Festival

The 2025 Salento Culinary Art Festival was held in Andrano (LE) on August 20 and 21, confirming the traditional end-of-summer appointment in Piazza Castello. In this edition, visitors were once again able to rediscover the authentic flavors of Salento's 'cucina povera': pittule, massa, legumes, coculedde, and other specialties prepared according to old-time recipes, accompanied by fine local wine.

The two evenings were enlivened by folk music and the rhythms of the pizzica, in a convivial setting that attracted residents and tourists vacationing along the lower Salento coast, confirming the festival as one of the most beloved gastronomic events of the Andrano summer.
