Salaria Run

The Salaria Run 2025, the first edition of the event, was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, marking the return of the historic running race between Ascoli Piceno and San Benedetto del Tronto. The race offered two distances: the 33.5 km event starting at 8:00 AM from Piazza Arringo in Ascoli Piceno and the half marathon (21.1 km) starting at 9:00 AM from Castel di Lama station, both with a finish line in Via Buozzi in San Benedetto del Tronto.

Organized by AVIS Ascoli Marathon and Flipper Triathlon with the support of the Municipalities of the Tronto Valley, the edition attracted around 300 participants. The victory went to Francesco D'Agostino among men and Claudia Gabrielli among women. Bib collection and briefing took place on Saturday, September 20, in San Benedetto del Tronto, while the official awards ceremony was held at noon at the finish line.
