Saison Culturelle

The 2024/2025 edition, the 40th, celebrated the fortieth anniversary of the Saison Culturelle with a particularly rich season, from October 26, 2024, to April 17, 2025. The programme featured over 40 shows — theatre, comedy, musicals, drama, opera, various concerts, and dance — alongside 50 films and 7 literary events. Among the music section's highlights were Fiorella Mannoia with "Fiorella Sinfonica", Irene Grandi, Vasco Brondi, Vinicio Capossela, and the Harlem Gospel Choir. In the opera realm, the arrival of Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly at the Splendor Theatre marked the first time for the region, coinciding with the centenary of the composer's death, while dance featured "Femina" by the Abbondanza Bertoni Company and the classical ballet "Giselle". The season concluded with great public success, nearly 26,500 attendees, confirming the Saison's central role in the cultural life of Aosta and the Aosta Valley.
