Edition 2025 — Saints Cosmas and Damian Festival

From September 25 to 29, 2025, Sferracavallo celebrated its 178th Saints Cosmas and Damian Festival. The heart of the festivities was the solemn procession on Sunday, September 28, with barefoot bearers carrying the float for nearly twelve hours to the fast rhythm of the marches. On Friday, the procession of the sancusimicchi children took place; on Saturday, the alborata at sunset on the pier and the historic rowing boat regatta, while the market fair with its stalls enlivened the village throughout the week, until the final fireworks on Monday.
