The 2025 edition

The patronal feast represented the grand finale of a particularly rich summer for Santo Stefano del Sole: the «Vivi Santo Stefano 2025» program, extended from July 7 to September 21, celebrated the 500 years of the community and 50 years of municipal autonomy, with guests such as Eugenio Bennato, Mariella Nava, and the folk group Spaccapaese.

The festivities in honor of Saint Vitus Martyr were scheduled by the Municipality on the days of August 20, 29, 30, and 31, with the final Sunday of August 31 dedicated to solemn rites, the Procession of the Thousand Candles, and the final fireworks display.

On the eve, the 52nd Spit-Roasted Whole Podolica Veal Festival took place: Thursday, August 28, from 8 PM in Piazza del Sole, the «Fire, Iron and Meat» evening with tastings and live music by Sciaraball; Friday, August 29, from 8 AM in Piazza Oscar Brini, the lighting of the fires for the long cooking of the whole veal on the spit, followed by lunch based on Podolica meat and the evening opening of the spits.
