Edition 2025 — Saint Vitus Festival
The Saint Vitus Martyr Festival 2025 took place in San Vito Lo Capo from June 9 to 15, with a calendar of religious celebrations and popular traditions spread throughout the week.
The program included the ancient greasy pole game at the Molo Sopraflutto, the evocative re-enactment of the Saints' landing on the beach at sunset, the torchlight procession to the chapel of Santa Crescenza with the blessing of animals, and the parade of Sicilian carts.
On June 15, the patron saint's day, the statue of Saint Vitus was carried in procession through the town streets, accompanied by the community to the Sanctuary-Fortress, confirming the festival as one of the defining events of the Trapani seaside village.
