In Limana, in the province of Belluno, the Saint Valentine's Feast is not just a simple anniversary but a long festival that accompanies the town for almost a month, from the end of January to the third week of February. The calendar offers events for all ages: exhibitions, cultural meetings, book presentations, animated readings, activities for children, solidarity initiatives, crafts, and tastings of local traditional products.
The heart of the festival
The highlight is the Valentine's Day weekend, around February 14th, when the centre of Limana comes alive with events:
- The "Walk with Heart" pedestrian event, a non-competitive walk open to everyone
- The Saint Valentine's Concert with the Limana Choir
- The "Arts and Flavours in the Square" fair with food stalls, ancient crafts, and agri-food products
- Workshops for children, the "Valentine's Sweet" competition, and the evocative lantern launch
Culture and community in Valbelluna
Alongside the more festive events, the festival gives ample space to culture, with inaugurations of art exhibitions curated by local associations and moments of reflection. A celebration that combines popular devotion, community life, and promotion of the territory, giving Limana one of the most vibrant winter showcases in Valbelluna. The organization is managed by the Municipality together with the Pro Loco and local associations.
Saint Valentine in Limana — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Saint Valentine's Feast in Limana opens on January 31st with the inauguration of the exhibition "Games of the Soul" and continues until February 21st with book presentations, animated readings, and activities for adults and children. Saturday, February 8th, features the inauguration of the exhibition "You are you, your boundary is you" curated by the Arca dei Volti Association. The weekend of February 15-16 concentrates the most anticipated moments of the festival, including a solidarity walk, music, a fair, and workshops.

Limana is in Valbelluna, along the SP1 sinistra Piave, a few kilometres from Belluno. Exit A27 Belluno, then follow signs for Limana. Nearest train station: Belluno.
