Edition 2025 — Saint Stephen Feast

The 2025 edition of the Saint Stephen Patronal Feast took place in Cugnoli on August 30th, on the day traditionally dedicated to the patron saint of the Pescara village. The community gathered for a solemn mass and the procession of the statue of Saint Stephen through the streets of the historic center, followed by civic festivities featuring a brass band, food stalls, and an evening fireworks display organized by the Comitato Feste Cugnoli.

Saint Stephen Patronal Feast 2025

On August 30, 2025, Cugnoli celebrated its Patronal Feast in honor of Saint Stephen the Protomartyr. In the small municipality in the province of Pescara, the day was marked by religious rites in the parish church of Saint Stephen the Martyr and a well-attended procession with the statue of the saint through the historic center.

As every year, the liturgical celebrations were joined by civic festivities managed by the Comitato Feste: a band concert, street lighting, and the traditional evening fireworks display, which closed the day of celebration in the heart of Abruzzo.
