The summer festival, held at the height of the season, has taken on a special value over time: it is the moment when the village gathers in full, thanks in part to the return of numerous emigrant Pagliarini who take advantage of their holidays to return to their place of origin and participate in the celebrations.

The procession and the cult of the Saint

The heart of the day is the solemn procession: the statue of Saint Sebastian is carried on the shoulders of devotees along the streets of the historic center of Pagliara, among stone buildings and village alleys, accompanied by the faithful, the brass band, and the prayers of the community.
