Edition 2025 — Saint Sebastian Maniace

In 2025, Maniace once again renewed its devotion to Saint Sebastian with the two traditional appointments. On January 20th, the liturgical festival took place with the procession of the statue, the blessing of the panuzzi, and the characteristic Fuitina of the Nuri inside the Benedictine abbey. On the Sunday following May 17th, the May festival drew a large participation of the faithful for the solemn procession through the town's districts.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Saint Sebastian Festival in Maniace confirmed the vitality of a tradition handed down since 1937. On January 20th, the Nuri, dressed in white and barefoot, carried the saint's statue on their shoulders, performing the Fuitina along the aisles of the church of Santa Maria di Maniace, after the blessing of the panuzzi and the offering of wax. The May festival, on the Sunday following May 17th, saw the solemn procession of the Saint crossing the districts of the Nebrodi town, confirming itself as the most attended moment of the year for the Maniace community.
