Edition 2025 โ€” Saint Roch Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Roch Patronal Festival was one of the longest ever: nearly four weeks of events, from July 31st to August 25th. The religious calendar ran from the raising of the banner on August 3rd to the solemn procession on the 24th, presided over by the Bishop of Avellino, Arturo Aiello, while the secular program alternated between food festivals, children's evenings, an opera gala, and concerts, closing on August 25th with Fausto Leali in Piazza Saverio Urciuoli and fireworks.

Saint Roch 2025 in Cesinali: nearly a month of celebration

From July 31st to August 25th, 2025, Cesinali experienced a particularly rich calendar in honor of its patron saint. The start was marked by the final of the "San Rocco" five-a-side football tournament at the Nocelleto municipal field, while the rites began on Sunday, August 3rd, with an outdoor mass on the churchyard of the San Rocco church, celebrated by Father Ernesto Miele, and the traditional raising of the banner.

From August 7th to 15th, the novena took place; on August 16th, the saint's day, there was a floral tribute and a mass presided over by Father Maurizio Patriciello, followed in the evening by the Serino marching band and a DJ set. On Sunday, August 24th, the solemn procession through the town streets and the mass by the Bishop of Avellino, Arturo Aiello, preceded the Grand Opera Gala with soloists Nicoletta D'Agosto and Ellanz Miglino.

The grand finale arrived on Monday, August 25th, with the free concert by Fausto Leali in Piazza Saverio Urciuoli and the fireworks display organized by the Piromagia company of Pannarano.
