2025 Saint Roch Feast in Palagiano

In 2025, the feast of the patron saint of Palagiano once again combined devotion and public celebration. From August 16th, the liturgical day of Saint Roch, until the gala Sunday of August 24th, the town center was animated by religious celebrations and civil events.

The heart of the event was the traditional Scamb'scét, the characteristic cavalcade-procession, and the solemn gala procession with the statue of the Saint accompanied by confraternities, civil and military authorities, and the brass band. The evenings offered brass band concerts in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, fireworks displays, and musical entertainment, while the main street was lit by artistic illuminations.

To complete the picture, the Saint Roch Fair with stalls and typical products and the funfair for families. The liturgical celebrations took place in the Maria SS.ma Annunziata parish, confirming the deep bond between the Palagiano community and its patron saint.
