Edition 2025 — Saint Rita Festival
The 2025 edition of the Saint Rita Festival took place in Gavignano Sabino, a village in the Municipality of Forano (province of Rieti, Lazio), on the traditional date of the last Sunday of May, Sunday, May 25, 2025.
As every year, the day combined the religious dimension with the community one: the mass in honor of the saint, the blessing of the roses, and the procession through the streets of the village, accompanied by the local brass band, brought together the inhabitants of Gavignano and the neighboring villages of the Bassa Sabina.
The festival remains one of the fixed appointments in the Forano calendar, which also features Saint Macarius on the first Sunday of May, the Water Festival in June, the summer Beer Festival, and the Pasta Festival on August 14th.
