Saint Rita Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Rita Festival in Castellammare del Golfo confirmed the vitality of a tradition deeply felt by the community. The historical pageant, with participants in period costumes, reenacted the key moments of the saint's life, crossing the historic center to the parish of Maria SS. Addolorata.

On the morning of the festival, the traditional blessing of the roses took place, brought to the church by the faithful, followed in the evening by the procession of the statue. Alongside the religious rites, the festival offered moments of popular gathering with market stalls and a funfair, attracting numerous devotees and visitors from across the province of Trapani.
