Edition 2025 — Saint Patrick's Day Orvieto
In 2025 too, Orvieto celebrated Saint Patrick's Day by linking it to its most famous monument, St. Patrick's Well. The event combined the green illumination of the well, guided tours dedicated to the history and legend of the saint, and initiatives focused on lace, in a dialogue between Orvieto's tradition and Irish culture.
The 2025 edition of Saint Patrick's Day in Orvieto renewed the unique cultural twinning with Ireland, made possible by the dedication of the famous St. Patrick's Well to the Irish patron saint. Between the green illumination of the monument, the guided tours "between history and legend," and the lace-focused initiatives, the city offered a March weekend dedicated to the encounter between the two traditions, in the Municipality of Orvieto (Province of Terni).
