Saint Nicholas of Bari Festival in Villa Santa Maria – Spring Patronal Feast

In 2025, the patronal feast of Saint Nicholas of Bari in Villa Santa Maria confirmed its role as a key identity event for the community in the Chieti hinterland. As per tradition, the celebrations were concentrated on the first weekend of May, with a solemn mass in honor of the patron saint and a procession with the saint's statue through the streets of the historic center.
