Saint Nicholas Festival of Brucoli

The 2025 edition

The 2025 edition of the Saint Nicholas Festival of Brucoli (Municipality of Augusta, province of Syracuse) confirmed the traditional formula: a week of events in the last week of July with games for children and adults, tournaments, rowing regattas in the village inlet, evening shows, and religious moments in the various districts. The patronal Sunday concluded with the solemn sea procession of the saint's statue, the laying of a wreath of flowers in memory of the fallen, and, late in the evening, the fireworks display over the harbor.

In 2025, the event received important institutional recognition: the "Brucoli Summer and Saint Nicholas Festival" initiative was funded with 20,000 euros by the Sicilian Region, a sign of the identity and tourism value of the festival for the entire seaside village community.
