Saint Nicholas Festival and Sacred Manna (Ostia Lido)

The 2025 edition of the patronal feast of Ostia Lido followed the established tradition: liturgical celebrations in the Parish of San Nicola di Bari, the tribute to the figure of the saint, protector of sailors — particularly felt in a district historically linked to the sea and fishing — and the procession with the patron's statue along the streets of the district, accompanied by the marching band.

As every year, the rites were accompanied by popular festivities organized by the parish community and local volunteer associations, with food stalls, a market, and activities for families in the spaces around the church. An event that confirms the Saint Nicholas Festival as one of the main identity-defining moments in the calendar of Ostia, in the Municipality of Rome.
