Saint Nicholas Feast of Morro d'Oro (Patronal Festival)

The 2025 edition of the Saint Nicholas of Bari patronal festival in Morro d'Oro took place on December 6th with religious celebrations at the Church of Saints Salvatore and Saint Nicholas and the procession of the patron saint. The Pro Loco of Morro d'Oro organized festivities in honor of Saint Nicholas and the Immaculate Conception, featuring a rich Christmas calendar: a living nativity scene in the medieval village, markets with crafts and local products, music, and a competition for traditional Abruzzo sweets. A Christmas described as "one to remember" by the community, capable of attracting visitors from neighboring towns in the Vomano Valley, in the province of Teramo.
