Saint Nicholas Bishop Festival

The 2025 patronal feast opened on Saturday, May 10, with Holy Mass at 6:00 PM in the Mother Church, followed by the ritual of handing over the town's keys by Mayor Anna Laura Remigi and the procession, accompanied by fireworks from the Pirotecnica Napoletana of Matino and the blessing with the Holy Manna of Saint Nicholas. In the evening, in Piazza del Popolo, the tribute band "Tommy the Giò", dedicated to Tommaso Paradiso and The Giornalisti, performed.

On Sunday, May 11, after the traditional Saint Nicholas Fair in Piazza del Popolo and the 10:30 AM Holy Mass in the Church of Saint Nicholas celebrated by Father Antonio Riva, the day continued with the Serenata della Stella Band and the "Pompilio Librando" Grand Brass Band of Racale, conducted by Maestro Anna Ciaccia. The Santoro illuminations of Alessano lit up Piazza del Popolo and Via Umberto I.
