Saint Martin of Tours Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Martin of Tours Festival in San Martino delle Scale, a village in the municipality of Monreale, was held from November 4th to 11th, 2025, under the theme "You too, give Hope," dedicated to solidarity with the sick and the most vulnerable.

The opening days saw the involvement of students from the "Margherita di Navarra" school, who crafted a handmade cloak, and moments of reflection on charity, including a food drive for Caritas. On November 9th, the parish mass and the solemn pontifical mass, presided over by Archbishop Emeritus Salvatore Di Cristina, preceded the community dinner with games and music. Between November 10th and 11th, vespers, the solemn mass celebrated by Abbot Dom Vittorio Rizzone, and the historical re-enactment of the saint's death with a suggestive candlelight procession took place. The festivities were crowned by the unmissable tasting of moscato wine and San Martino biscuits.
