Edition 2025 — Saint Martin Fair

The 2025 edition of the Saint Martin Fair took place in Martina Franca on November 11th, drawing a crowd to the historic center not seen in years. The 'cappottari', the livestock market in the Ortolini area, and hundreds of stalls returned to the streets and squares of the 'White City', while the air filled with the scents of tripe, roasted chestnuts, and new wine, in the spirit of the traditional 'new coat' of Saint Martin.

On November 11, 2025, the Saint Martin Fair returned to fill the streets of the center of Martina Franca with a turnout not seen in a long time. The event, which celebrates the patron saint, took place with continuous hours throughout the day and confirmed all its traditional sections. Over a hundred authorized stalls enlivened Corso Messapia, Viale Carella, and Piazza Filippo d'Angiò with household goods, food, and local products, while the 'cappottari' occupied Piazza XX Settembre and Corso Italia with coats and heavy garments. In the Ortolini area, the characteristic livestock market was present, featuring Murgia horses and donkeys. Among the star flavors were tripe, roasted chestnuts, and new wine, in keeping with the autumn tradition of the Itria Valley.
