Saint Lucy's Festival

The 2025 edition of the Saint Lucy's Festival renewed the ritual that annually draws faithful and emigrants to Miranda. On the last Sunday of August, the community ascended to the mountain chapel for the solemn 12:00 PM mass, then spent the day in the surrounding area. The Sunday evening masses throughout the summer and the chapel's illumination in the preceding week accompanied the event, which was part of the rich Mirandese August program.

The 2025 festival followed the traditional pattern: Sunday evening masses in the small church during the summer, chapel illumination in the week prior, and a solemn mass at 12:00 PM on the last Sunday of August.
