Saint Lawrence Festival (Patronal Feast of Malfa)

The 2025 Saint Lawrence Festival in Malfa, on the island of Salina, confirmed the usual structure of the patronal feast. On the evening of August 9th, the eve was enlivened by a musical show in the square, a moment of celebration and gathering for residents and visitors.

On August 10th, the day of Saint Lawrence, the patron saint of Malfa went out in procession: the statue, carried on the shoulders of the faithful, crossed the village streets accompanied by confraternities, authorities, the marching band, and a large participation of devotees, many of whom returned to the island specifically for the event. The day ended with the traditional fireworks, under the sky of the night of the shooting stars. The edition was documented by live broadcasts and videos from Salina Live.
