Saint Joseph's Feast - Great Bonfire and Procession

The 2025 festival

The 2025 edition renewed the customary blend of liturgy and folk tradition that characterizes the Saint Joseph's Feast in the Monticchio district of Manfredonia, in the province of Foggia. The evening novena prepared the community for the March 19th solemnity, the culmination of the celebrations.

Around the San Giuseppe Parish, the traditional bonfire was lit, accompanied by the Sagra della Zeppola and entertainment by scouts, majorettes, and the band. On the day of the solemnity, the procession of the statue traveled through the streets of the district with the Città di Manfredonia musical band, confirming the festival as one of the most heartfelt events of the spring season in Manfredonia.
