Edition 2025 — Bonfire Night
The 2025 edition of Saint Joseph's Bonfire Night renewed the fire ritual around March 19th in Corleto Perticara, with the blessing and lighting of the pyre in Piazza Plebiscito, accompanied by religious moments, live music, and the Pro Loco Corletana's food stands.
In 2025, the Bonfire Night in Corleto Perticara reaffirmed the community's deep connection with the Saint Joseph ritual. Around March 19th, in Piazza Plebiscito, the great bonfire was erected by volunteers and lit after the blessing, on an evening of music, typical products, and traditional zeppole that preceded the official recognition of the ritual as intangible heritage of the Lucanian community.
