Edition 2025 — Spring Saint Joseph

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Sant'Agata di Militello took place from March 16th to 19th and was particularly significant: it coincided with the reopening of the Mother Church (Duomo) after about eighteen months of closure. The celebrations included a preparatory triduum with masses presided over by Monsignor Guglielmo Giombanco, Bishop of Patti, culminating in the solemn procession on March 19th.

The 2025 edition held special value for the community of Sant'Agata di Militello: the festival marked the reopening of the Mother Church (Duomo) after about eighteen months, returning the city's main place of worship to the faithful.

The celebrations took place from March 16th to 19th, with a preparatory triduum (March 16-18) and masses presided over by Monsignor Guglielmo Giombanco, Bishop of Patti. On March 19th, the day of the Patron Saint, the statue of Saint Joseph was carried in procession through the city streets, accompanied by the parade of the "Giuseppe Verdi" Band and the procession of civil and military authorities. All celebrations were broadcast by Radio Stereo Sant'Agata.
