Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Roccamena

In 2025, Roccamena once again celebrated its patron Saint Joseph on March 19th, renewing the tradition of the Altars laden with traditional dishes and the Saint Joseph bread. After the blessing, the characteristic bread molded into various shapes was distributed to the poor, while the procession and the brass band enlivened the town center in a day of deep popular devotion.

The 2025 edition

On March 19, 2025, Roccamena renewed its patronal feast dedicated to Saint Joseph. In this edition as well, the center of the celebration was the preparation of the Altari di San Giuseppe, which displayed traditional local dishes and blessed bread prepared with a special dough and in various symbolic shapes.

After the blessing, the Saint Joseph bread was distributed to the poor, according to the ancient tradition of charity that characterizes the festival. The day featured the procession of the saint through the town streets, accompanied by the brass band, confirming the Saint Joseph Festival as one of the most heartfelt and evocative events for the community of Roccamena, in the Province of Palermo.
