Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Festival

In 2025, the Saint Joseph Festival once again marked two moments of the year in Palazzo Adriano. In March, votive tables filled the homes of devotees with Saint Joseph breads, seasonal produce, and traditional sweets like sfingi and pignolata, followed by the blessing and the procession of the Saint's statue. On the first Sunday of September, the solemn procession of the statues of Saint Joseph and Our Lady of Mount Carmel took place through the streets of the Arbëreshë village.

The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Palazzo Adriano confirmed the double recurrence that characterizes this Sicani Mountains tradition. On March 19th, the village experienced the day of the votive tables, with hand-molded Saint Joseph breads, typical dishes of poor Sicilian cuisine, and traditional sweets, concluding with the evening procession of the Saint's statue. On the first Sunday of September, the solemn procession of the statues of Saint Joseph and Our Lady of Mount Carmel took place, a moment of strong communal identity for the Greek-Byzantine rite Arbëreshë community.
