Edition 2025 — Saint Joseph Festival
The 2025 edition of the Saint Joseph Festival in Casteldaccia (Palermo) — the 198th — was held from August 22 to 26, 2025, enlivening the historic center with the usual blend of the sacred and the profane.
The religious heart was the procession of the statue on Sunday, August 24, accompanied by the traditional flight of the angels and followed by the first fireworks display. On the secular side, the program offered the Eko Experience orchestra and the "Comici in Palazzo" show (August 22), the dance vibes of "I 40 che ballano i 90" with the Zingarua band (August 23), the Casteld'Arte Buskers Festival with street performers, and the 6th edition of the Casteldaccia Street Food Fest with Sicilian street food specialties.
The highlight was the free concert by Giusy Ferreri in Piazza Matrice on Monday, August 25, at 9:30 PM, followed by the grand fireworks finale. Tuesday, August 26, concluded with the award ceremony for the "A festa ru me paisi" photography contest and the lottery draw.
